Grigory Ioffe has been elected to the post of the Chairman of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Crimea

On June 30, 2014 was held the first meeting of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Crimea.

In accordance with the Law of RC “On Public Chamber of the Republic of Crimea”, the first meeting was opened by the elder member of the Public Chamber Alexander Sybilev.

In the meeting took part the acting Head of the Republic of Crimea, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov, the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov, first Deputy Plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation at Crimean Federal district Nikolay Vodorezov. The Public Chamber of the Russian Federation at the first session was represented by the First Deputy Secretary of the Public Chamber Vyacheslav Gryb.

During the meeting unanimously to the post of the Chairman of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Crimea was elected Grigory Ioffe. Vice Chairman - lawyer Alexander Sybilev and political analyst Alexander Formanchuk. In addition, during the first organizational meeting by secret ballot was elected representative of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Crimea in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation. The post achieved Director of the Bulgarian cultural center “Izvor” Ivan Abager. Members of the Public chamber also approved the names of the commissions, their chairmen and staff; established a working group of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Crimea for the preparation of the Code of ethics of a member of the Public chamber of the Republic of Crimea and Regulations of the Public Chamber. In addition, was approved the Council of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Crimea.
